The insurance company offered $120,000, arguing that the roofs were in decent condition or had been damaged before the storm. We used construction experts, architects and weather experts to prove that Hurricane Wilma did cause the damage. The condo association eventually received a multi-million dollar settlement of the claim, which covered all the damages plus the attorneys fees.
